The 6th Annual An Evening of Hope will be held at Richland Country Club on Saturday, March 25, 2023. The Gala will offer a silent and live auction, with items donated from many local stores and businesses, as well as a "fund the cause" paddle raise - all to help raise vital funds to support services provided by The ALS Association. We hope you can join us as it will be an evening filled with food, drinks, socializing and more!

Gerald McCormick
Former TN House Majority Leader Gerald McCormick

After his retirement from the Tennessee General Assembly, Gerald McCormick joined The Ingram Group. Representative McCormick served in several leadership positions, including his role as House Majority Leader and as Chairman of the Budget Subcommittee of House Finance, Ways and Means. He carried most of Governor Bill Haslam’s legislation in the House and is particularly proud of passing the Tennessee Promise, which gives every Tennessee high school graduate the opportunity to get a 2-year degree or certificate free of tuition and fees. His community involvement has included serving on the boards of the Chattanooga Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, Blood Assurance, Big Ridge Elementary School PTA, and the Tennessee State Museum Foundation Board. Gerald also completed the Leadership Tennessee program and remains active in the organization.

He is a U.S. Army veteran, having served as a Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Specialist in the First Gulf War. He attended public schools in Memphis and graduated from The University of Tennessee – Knoxville where he met his wife, Dr. Kimberly McCormick, before moving to Chattanooga and later to Nashville. They have two daughters and a granddaughter.
